Hi, i am new to this sport, i have the dogs , but have never been to an event, can someone please explain to me what the classes are, what a Calcutta is and anything else that would be helpful when i show up, so I'm not a complete dummy to what's going on, thanks for your time i appreciate it. well after all of the dogs are entered in each event they will hold a calcutta.if you have been to a auction before you will catch on pretty quick all of the dogs have a chance of winning the event.you are bidding on that dogs chance of winning.after all of the calcuttas are done the money goes into a side pot and the winner will receive all of the money in most cases.And on how the events are laid out.skill level is how the dogs are separated starting with puppys and ending up with pro dogs.

Thanks Admin, i didnt have a clue what a calcutta was, I am really wanting to come to a baypen event, just to see how its done, I have allways loved to watch working dogs!!!! bounce
